    SEROPREVALANCE OF BRUCELLOSIS IN ANIMALS IN KRISHNA DISTRICT OF ANDHRA PRADESH

    Brucellosis is most important of all the zoonotic diseases affecting humans and animals. The diagnosis of brucellosis and subsequent culling of the animal from the flock is very essential so as to prevent the contamination of the herd or farm. A study was conducted to identify the seroprevalance of brucellosis in Krishna district in which different sera samples from bovines, caprines and porcines were collected from different regions of the district and were subjected to Rose Bengal plate agglutination test (RBPT).
