The paper studies PV panel and battery sizing of a linear Fresnel mirror or solar concentrator that has the potential in treating waste water and converting them into freshwater condensate. In a recent experimental study in Solar tracking, the research mentions the use of a 1.5 KW stepper motor and various other automation modules for controlling the orientation of the mirrors throughout the day. The stepper motor and the automation of the mirrors however is controlled using non-renewables. This paper proposes a PV sizing for the entire setup of light tracking in details and its performance at different months of the year. The case study is performed for the region of Goa which is located in India.
