Aerva lanata (Linn) Juss. ex. Schult (Amaranthaceae) is widely found as weed on mountains and bare ground. It is an herb which trails on the ground with many branches and leaves are alternately arranged with fine hairs above and with wooly beneath. This study aimed to evaluate the anthelmintic and antiinflammatory activity by human red blood cells (HRBC) membrane stabilization method. The methanolic extract of Aerva lanata showed significant anthelmintic and anti-inflammatory activity.
