This paper demonstrates an easy, tough and energy efficient street light intensity control system which does not need much maintenance. The concept is sensing the brightness in the surrounding environment and controlling the intensity of street lights accordingly. LDR Sensor is affixed to sense the luminosity in the environment. The system uses Arduino, a MOSFET is used for controlling the intensity of LEDs. A cluster of LEDs acts as a streetlight. The system is more dependable than systems with time slots and requires less perpetuation as compared to other available systems....
This paper managed the way of communication through latest technology named Internet of Thing (IoT). End – device and end – user can be communicated through designed IoT Protocol. Here, end – devices like ESP8266, Arduino ATmega328 controller, MPR121 touch used for communication with end – user like smartphones. There are different IoT protocols used in IoT application but here we used MQTT protocol because it has lightweight, low bandwidth, open and easiest to implement at the client side. ESP8266 is itself a controller and has Wi-Fi connectivity with low cost. A controller named ATmega328 has been added for controlling a large number of Home Appliances because it has a number of GPIOs compare to ESP8266. MPR121 Touch sensor is used for smartness of system. Including all these devices the Smart Switch Board is made and it is applicable to both inside and outside of the home for controlling and monitoring Home Appliances....
Monitoring envormental condition is very essential in research field like agriculture area. Here climate monitoring system is designed on ARM7 based 16-bit/32-bit microcontroller LPC2148 which measure the temperature, relative humidity. When these parameter values are measured. These values with respect to date and time are stored in the computer serial interface serial communication. By using RS232 interface the store data can be transmitted and saved on the computer system hyper terminal for further analysis....
Smart home is type of Internet of Things (IoT) fields. In accordance with features and requests of smart home, the design of smart home system using IoT has been reviewed in this paper. IoT devices like Raspberry Pi, Arduino microcontrollers, XBee modules with Arduino XBee shields and a set of sensors with relay boards are integrated to produced energy efficient, low cost and easy to use system. Moreover, this paper describes the architectural design; the hardware and software components and the implementation. Raspberry Pi process the user commands using python programming language and send these commands to specific Arduino using ZigBee protocol. Raspberry Pi represents a coordinator of system network and Arduino with XBee module act as routers. Finally, the communication between the end user and the coordinator is done using WebSocket technology....
