Quarterly published "Inventi Rapid: Mechanical Engineering" focuses on the theory and practice aspects of process engineering, machine design, and manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems. Micro-structures are generally made with help of micro machining. Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) is one of the way to produce micro-structures. Nowadays due to increased demand of lighter and precision work products, demand of micromachining has been increased. Micro-EDM is used for micromachining conductive materials. It is extensively used to counterfeit micro scale components like micro injection, micro holes, nozzles, micro probes etc. Physical forces are eliminated since electrode and workpiece are separate, which makes the process very effective for micromachining with micro-tools. This avoids impressions of physical forces during machining. EDM is used for machining hard material, which is electrically conductive. The workpiece and tool are separated by gap called spark gap. In EDM milling, a simple cylindrical tool rotates and travels in a XY plane to cut complex shapes. The CFD analysis is a useful method to analyse the dielectric flow in the gap which affects the machining performance....
Rusting is a common phenomenon observed when the metallic surface is exposed to the atmosphere. Rust is iron oxide usually a red oxide formed by the redox reaction of iron and oxygen. Today rust on iron has become very common especially in the rainy season or in the place near the sea and thus oiling is critical towards preventing and curing rusting. In this paper, an oil dipping mechanism was developed to prevent the mechanical product manufactured in the industry from rust and corrosion. The developed model can provide fast and efficient cleaning of manufactured components. The design of the individual parts was done by the conventional design process and the 3D model was done using Solid works software. Dipping is the simple method where a uniform layer of oil is applied to the internal and external surface of the workpiece. This paper comprises brief information about the mineral resources and development of metallic industries in Chhattisgarh. The author has presented some valuable suggestion for the growth of mineral and metallic industries to the Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The author found the steel, mining and Ispat industries are helpful to increase the HDI {Human Development Index] rank. The cities which consist mines land cluster industries like AL having high HDI rank. The policies of Govt. of Chhattisgarh on mineral based industries require some improvement by proper mechanism. Several causes like transportation linkage with mining site, Govt.
