The protection of trade secrets is a more complex problem. Compared with the past, the difficulty of the protection of trade secrets in high-tech industry now has increased a lot. Based on the characteristics of high-tech industry, the practicability, confidentiality and economy of trade secrets, and combining with the current market environment in China, this article tries to put forward the legal protection advice of trade secrets in line with the characteristics of high-tech industry in China, in order to provide some ideas for future research....
China has established good relations with African countries since the 1950s. In recent years, the investment enthusiasm in Africa has increased steadily in China. The research investigated the investment practice of China in African countries since the reform and opening, presented a general picture of Chinese FDI in African, and identified the status quo of Chinese investment from the perspective of investment volume, country distribution, industry distribution, and market maturity. Issues in policy support system, legal protection system, investment environment investigation, and operation mode are identified and analyzed, based on which corresponding countermeasures are proposed....
Using the method of export complexity index, this paper calculates the export\ntrade structure and technology content of mechanical and electrical products\nbetween China, Japan and South Korea from 2000 to 2016 based on the\n6-digit code of UN COMTRADE database, and examines the differences between\nthem in export technology complexity and export technology structure.\nThe results show that although the export technology complexity of\nChinaâ??s mechanical and electrical products has been improved to some extent,\nit is still not high. Among the mechanical and electrical products exported\nby China, there are more products with low complexity and medium\ncomplexity, while Japanâ??s products with high complexity are obviously more\nthan Chinaâ??s, and Koreaâ??s products with low complexity are less than Chinaâ??s.\nBased on this, this paper puts forward some suggestions on upgrading the\nexport technology structure of Chinaâ??s mechanical and electrical products....
Under the macro-environment of â??The Belt and Road Initiativeâ?, Heilongjiang\nprovince receives more foreign investment since 2013. This paper endeavors\nto collect website information of foreign-invested companies in Heilongjiang\nprovince and Heilongjiang local companies and build two corresponding\ncorpuses. After analyzing data by using WMATRIX 4 tool, the author\nselects semantic clouds under the framework of Singhâ??s website content.\nThen after comparing data of Heilongjiang local companies and foreign\ninvested companies in Heilongjiang province, the author tries to explain the\ndata from Hofstedeâ??s cultural dimensions, namely, individualism vs. collectivism,\npower distance, uncertainty avoidance and femininity vs. masculinity.\nThen suggestions on the website building to adapt to the local culture have\nbeen made. The study makes a useful attempt to explore the effectiveness of\nbusiness communication across disciplines by using linguistic research perspectives\nand research methods....
As peopleâ??s awareness of environmental protection increases. Therefore many\nresearchers have paid attention to how to recycle and reuse the old products\nin the hands of consumers. Trade-in as one of the effective methods of\nrecycling old products has also become the focus of researchers. In order to\nbetter understand the research progress of researchers on the old product recycling\nand trade-in, this paper has sorted out the relevant literature. After\nsorting out, it was found that researchers mostly study the recycling of old\nproducts from the choice of recycling methods, the impact of recycling of old\nproducts on pricing and multi-recycling channels. The main research method\nof this paper is to find out the shortcomings of the existing research through\nliterature combing. The purpose of this research is to provide relevant inspiration\nand suggestions for future research, but also helping to find out the\nblank points of the research for further exploration; and helping to inspire\nrecyclers to choose the optimal recycling strategy to better recycle old products,\nso as to achieve the utilization of resources....
Transnational tobacco companies (TTCs) may respond to processes of regional trade integration both by acting politically to influence policy and by reorganising their own operations. The Central American Common Market (CACM) was reinvigorated in the 1990s, reflecting processes of regional trade liberalisation in Latin America and globally. This study aimed to ascertain how British American Tobacco (BAT), which dominated the markets of the CACM, sought to influence policy towards it by member country governments and how the CACM process impacted upon BAT's operations.\nThe study analysed internal tobacco industry documents released as a result of litigation in the US and available from the online Legacy Tobacco Documents Library at http://legacy.library.ucsf.edu/ webcite. Documents were retrieved by searching the BAT collection using key terms in an iterative process. Analysis was based on an interpretive approach involving a process of attempting to understand the meanings of individual documents and relating these to other documents in the set, identifying the central themes of documents and clusters of documents, contextualising the documentary data, and choosing representative material in order to present findings.\nUtilising its multinational character, BAT was able to act in a coordinated way across the member countries of the CACM to influence tariffs and taxes to its advantage. Documents demonstrate a high degree of access to governments and officials. The company conducted a coordinated, and largely successful, attempt to keep external tariff rates for cigarettes high and to reduce external tariffs for key inputs, whilst also influencing the harmonisation of excise taxes between countries. Protected by these high external tariffs, it reorganised its own operations to take advantage of regional economies of scale. In direct contradiction to arguments presented to CACM governments that affording the tobacco industry protection via high cigarette tariffs would safeguard employment, the company's regional reorganisation involved the loss of hundreds of jobs.\nRegional integration organisations and their member states should be aware of the capacity of TTCs to act in a coordinated transnational manner to influence policy in their own interests, and coordinate their own public health and tax policies in a similarly effective way....
Data is an extremely important asset in a modern scientific and commercial society. The life force behind powerful artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) algorithms is data, especially lots of data, which makes data trading significantly essential to unlocking the power of AI or ML. Data owners who offer crowdsourced data and data consumers who request data blocks negotiate with each other to make an agreement on data assignment and trading prices via a data trading platform; consequently, both sides gain profit from the process of data trading. A great many existing studies have investigated various kinds of data sharing or trading as well as protecting data privacy or constructing a decentralized data trading platform due to mistrust issues. However, existing studies neglect an important characteristic, i.e., dynamics of both data owners and data requests in trading crowdsourced data collected by IoT devices. To this end, we first construct an auction-based model to formulate the data trading process and then propose a near-optimal online data trading algorithm that not only resolves the problem of matching dynamic data owners and randomly generated data requests but also determines the data trading price of each data block. The proposed algorithm achieves several good properties, such as a constant competitive ratio for nearoptimal social efficiency, incentive compatibility, and individual rationality of participants, via rigorous theoretical analysis and extensive simulations. We further design a decentralized data trading platform in order to construct a practical data trading process incorporating the proposed data trading algorithm....
Under the background of globalization, international trade is taking an important part in the development of the world economy. English communication ability has become as crucial as major related qualities for international business salesmen whose native language is not English. International salesman should have the ability of English communicating skills. Business English is a sub-branch of ESP which has been widely studied. While, as far as the researcher knows, the sub-branch of business English, international trade English is seldom studied. International trade English is a micro part of business English, which should be studied specifically. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the English language needs of international trade salesman in mainland China. Needs analysis through survey questionnaire was done to the international salesman in China. There were totally 114 international trade salesmen participated in the survey. This research investigated English language needs of the international trade salesmen from two aspects, the present language ability of the international trade salesman and the language difficulties they encountered in their daily work. Quantitative data were analyzed using percentage. It was found that the English language proficiency of the international trade salesmen is not enough to do their work well. This paper provides real-time language needs of the international trade salesman, which could offer authentic material to the syllabus design....
Tourist friendly destination is a growing concept applicable to many tourism sectors, which aim to satisfy the\nneeds and demands of domestic as well as international tourists. In the city tourism, recent practices have shown\nthat tourism providers have given emphasis to the general provision of physical facilities compared to the facilities\nand services that meet and satisfies the touristsââ?¬â?¢ needs. Previous studies have also focused on the positioning,\nimage, and branding of tourism destination, thus, making the tourist friendly destination concept untapped.\nTherefore, this article aims to develop a preliminary concept of tourist friendly destination from domestic touristââ?¬â?¢s\nperspective. A total of 30 respondents chose the purposive sampling method in Kuala Lumpur. The results of the\nstudy showed that the level of attributes was ââ?¬Å?importantââ?¬Â and ââ?¬Å?very importantââ?¬Â to overall mean value range 3.09 to\n4.63. This study contributes to the tourism providers and planners in developing city tourism towards tourist friendly\ndestination concept....
This paper argues China through the establishment of special economic zones\nat the beginning of reform and opening up, as well as the formulation of ââ?¬Å?super\nnational treatmentââ?¬Â and other preferential policies to attract foreign investment.\nTo now have a large number of foreign manufacturing enterprisesââ?¬â?¢\nwithdraw behind Chinaââ?¬â?¢s contrast, is a reflection of Chinaââ?¬â?¢s economy growing\nstronger, and is the inevitable result compatible with the ââ?¬Å?made in China\n2025ââ?¬Â. This paper hopes to help some enterprises to correctly understand the\nphenomenon of foreign investment. This paper reviews the different historical\nperiods under the different performances of Chinaââ?¬â?¢s policy on foreign investment\nto explore ââ?¬Å?made in China 2025ââ?¬Â by the historic significance, but also\nshows good hope for the development of Chinese manufacturing industry....
