Tourist friendly destination is a growing concept applicable to many tourism sectors, which aim to satisfy the\nneeds and demands of domestic as well as international tourists. In the city tourism, recent practices have shown\nthat tourism providers have given emphasis to the general provision of physical facilities compared to the facilities\nand services that meet and satisfies the touristsââ?¬â?¢ needs. Previous studies have also focused on the positioning,\nimage, and branding of tourism destination, thus, making the tourist friendly destination concept untapped.\nTherefore, this article aims to develop a preliminary concept of tourist friendly destination from domestic touristââ?¬â?¢s\nperspective. A total of 30 respondents chose the purposive sampling method in Kuala Lumpur. The results of the\nstudy showed that the level of attributes was ââ?¬Å?importantââ?¬Â and ââ?¬Å?very importantââ?¬Â to overall mean value range 3.09 to\n4.63. This study contributes to the tourism providers and planners in developing city tourism towards tourist friendly\ndestination concept....
Currently we are witnessing a phenomenon where the development and changes in\nenterprise environment are occurring very quickly. The paper responds to this\nphenomenon and it is focused on the area of integration and implementation of Enterprise\nResource Planning systems in the multinational enterprise. Firstly are described the main\nconcepts and definitions connected with Enterprise Resource Planning systems and used\nmethods. In the next section, we used the illustrative case study. In this paper, we have explored the impact of terrorism on the international business in Pakistan. For this purpose\nwe have taken the data from 1998 to 2008 and applied the random sampling method and Pearsons product moment.\nOur results are showing that there is association between terrorism and international business in Pakistan. Terrorism\nhas impact not only stock exchange of Pakistan while, it has impact on the other sectors like education, banking\nsector, finance sectors, foreign direct investment sectors also. Therefore Government of Pakistan should have taken\nnotice such types of terrorism activities. This research is conducted to provide a holistic research framework that incorporates key\nsocio-cultural factors affecting knowledge transfer in cross-border M&A. This research will\nprovide empirical suggestion to domestic companies to improve the current management\nof cultural differences that may be the main reason for the high failure rates of knowledge\ntransfer in international M&A. A total of 10 domestic companies in Malaysia which had\ninvolved in cross-border M&A in the past 5 years participated in this study. The M&A cases\nwere collected from the Thomson One Banker database. At the same time, this research has\nalso cross-verified the selected cases with the Securities Commission and Bursa Malaysia.\nDuring company visits, questionnaires were distributed to managers who had been\nidentified through a purposive sampling method based on a list provided by the\nparticipating organizations. A total of 200 managers were selected to participate in the\nsurvey. Findings of this research indicate that organizational cultural difference has\nsignificant negative influence while relationship and trust has significant positive influence\non knowledge transfer in cross-border M&A....
This research aims to provide guidance to companies seeking to initiate a process of internationalization, discusses\npossible strategies and methodologies that can be followed to succeed in this process. It is based on a case study\nfocused on Inditex group, although it is a descriptive research, tries to give a clear focus to consider, on proven\ntheories supported in addition to the strategic and operational structure of our case study. The Internet has a remarkable impact upon service companies; especially in the financial sector.\nThis research adopts the system dynamics approach as the construction model for continuous\nimprovement of service quality. It highlights the quality problems in banks from the\nperspectives of the main stakeholders; customers and Internet banking providers that are\nconcluded from previous papers. From the data analysis, supported by the literature review,\nseven-service quality dimensions were identified; namely; Usability, Reliability, Responsiveness,\nPrivacy, Fulfillment, Efficiency, Assurance. An e-banking service quality dynamic decision\nsupport system is proposed in this paper. A revised dynamics model was drawn and simulated\nusing Powersim software. System dynamics results show that Customer Relationship\nManagement is a dimension that would increase e-service quality and customer satisfaction.\nFinally, the results would help banks achieve a competitive edge through allocating attention\nand resources efficiently among e-service quality dimensions that are more important from the\ncustomer�s perspective....
