Using the method of export complexity index, this paper calculates the export\ntrade structure and technology content of mechanical and electrical products\nbetween China, Japan and South Korea from 2000 to 2016 based on the\n6-digit code of UN COMTRADE database, and examines the differences between\nthem in export technology complexity and export technology structure.\nThe results show that although the export technology complexity of\nChinaâ??s mechanical and electrical products has been improved to some extent,\nit is still not high. Among the mechanical and electrical products exported\nby China, there are more products with low complexity and medium\ncomplexity, while Japanâ??s products with high complexity are obviously more\nthan Chinaâ??s, and Koreaâ??s products with low complexity are less than Chinaâ??s.\nBased on this, this paper puts forward some suggestions on upgrading the\nexport technology structure of Chinaâ??s mechanical and electrical products....
The economic mechanism for factoring management of trade enterprises was improved by\napplying a tool for refinancing receivables involving third parties, which will contribute to the\neffective management of fundraising processes from the standpoint of the income approach.\nThe instruments for the implementation of the economic mechanism of factoring management\nof commercial enterprises, consisting of five blocks were improved (analysis of commercial\nenterprise debtorsâ?? solvency in order to transfer them to factoring services; analysis of accounts\nreceivable and assessment of its real value; planning of cash flows from factoring operations;\nfactoring implementation assessment; monitoring and control of the repayment of receivables\nin the process of factoring services), that allows substantiating practical recommendations for\nimproving the level of factoring management. The Akwatia Diamond Mine has been responsible for most of the diamond-\nrelated activities in Ghana. This study analyses the factors responsible\nfor the recent lack of investments inflows into the Mine and also assesses diamond\nexport performance in Ghana using the annual time series data from\n1987 to 2018. The Gravity Model, a well-known model for trade flow analyses\nis employed into the study to assess the relationship between diamond exports\nand foreign direct investments as well measure its impact on gross domestic\nproduct, diamond price, real effective exchange rate and inflation rate.\nThe study found a positive but insignificant impact of foreign direct investments\non diamond export over the period under study in the long run and\nalso reports little or no direct impact on diamond exports in the short run.\nThe study recommends that the Government of Ghana should introduce punitive\nlaws and regulations to guide the next Akwatia Diamond Mine divestiture\nto avoid a repeat of the past divestiture failures. Additionally, the study\nrecommends that the Government of Ghana should reconsider lifting the ban\non artisanal diamond mining and rather formulate and adopt policies to\nmanage and supervise their activities to boost diamond production, exports\nand revenue....
Based on database of trade protection measures of GTA (Global Trade Alert),\nthis paper attends to analyze the new trend of trade protectionism in the\npost-financial crisis era as well as the protection measures that China faced\nwith. The analyzing results appeal that the number of trade protection measures\nincrease rapidly with several new features, which reflects a new trend of\nglobal trade protectionism. China is the biggest victim in face of it. In respond\nto New Trade Protectionism, the paper proposes countermeasures in\nfive respects....
By calculating, the trade indexes (TII, RCA and IIT), mainly in the period 2001 -2017, the article analyzes current situation of the dependent relationship and ability to complement each other on trade between Vietnam and China. The results show that Vietnam and China are increasingly becoming important trade partners of each other; Vietnam and China have a particular advantage in the export structure of its exports, showing the trade relations between the two countries are complementary to each other; and the level of intra -industry trade between Vietnam and China is quite high. The US - China trade war broke out will cause the reversal of the global trade environment. However, in short term, the trade context of the Vietnam- China less affected by this tension. But in the long term, sanctions are expanded to different sectors will can have unpredictable effects....
