Vehicle tires are major components that are subjected to fatigue loading and their durability is of economic interest as it is directly related to the safety of property and the life of producers and consumers. Tire durability is also a major issue of energy conservation and environmental protection. This research aims to establish a reasonable fatigue evaluation and optimization method that effectively improves tire fatigue life. In the study, 11.00R20 and 12.00R20 all-steel radial truck tires were the research objects, and the guiding hypothesis for the research was that “the maximum area of the strain energy density gradient modulus corresponds to the initial failure area, its direction corresponds to the crack propagation direction, and also the maximum strain energy value is inversely proportional to the tire fatigue life....
Recently, interest in Internet of Vehicles’ (IoV) technologies has significantly emerged due to the substantial development in the smart automobile industries. Internet of Vehicles’ technology enables vehicles to communicate with public networks and interact with the surrounding environment. It also allows vehicles to exchange and collect information about other vehicles and roads. IoV is introduced to enhance road users’ experience by reducing road congestion, improving traffic management, and ensuring the road safety. The promised applications of smart vehicles and IoV systems face many challenges, such as big data collection in IoV and distribution to attractive vehicles and humans...........
Aiming at the high demand for the torque response speed and torque pulsation of the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) Electric Power Steering (EPS) system, this paper proposes to apply theModel Predictive Current Control to the all-terrain vehicle EPS system. A Novel Three-Vector Model Predictive Current Control (N3V-MPCC) is proposed in this paper to reduce the current ripple and reduce the calculation load.............
Due to heavy and alternating loads of working conditions, spiral bevel gears are prone to broken tooth failures. To solve the problem of vibration characteristic of spiral bevel geared transmission with broken tooth failures that is unknown, this study, considering time-varying mesh stiffness and friction excitation, proposed a torsional vibration dynamic model of spiral bevel geared transmission, which has more simple transmission path and the smaller signal attenuation.........
In order to improve the diagnosis accuracies of the current diagnosis methods, a novel fault diagnosis method of automobile gearbox based on novel successive variational mode decomposition and weighted regularized extreme learning machine is presented for fault diagnosis of gearbox in this paper.....................
