Governing and Parenting the Higher Education Indian Institutions of 21st Century

Souls need no introduction of gender, cast, creed, country or belief and so soul-based relations and dealings too. For obvious pious reasons, eternal existence and ever awakened status, soul has seamless connectivity with supreme soul. Education is soul while value education is supreme soul of a healthy society. Formal degrees from higher education institutions provide good livings and raise social status and can purchase best materialistic means and facilities. Existing meanings of ‘education and true-value education’ are very much like water in ice form or ice in water form. Thoughts of noble contributions lead to quality governance with better mentoring. Governing-parenting authorities of HEIIs are grand-parents having all kinds of responsibilities of well-being of stake holders. Originally, it’s not a matter of good governance or bad mentoring or parenting but quite serious concern for HEIIs for providing mere information and tool for bread and butter. Surface level attractions create dangerous irreversible non-contributory non-productive side effects. This original review paper presents issues, factors, parameters, needs and demands of effective leadership, enhanced productivity and improved quality for the 21st century HEIIs.
