Cancer is a group of disease that involves abnormal cell growth with potential to invade the other part of body. Patient suffering from cancer have significantly lower intake of dietary vitamin-k. According to recent studies, the supplementation of vitamin-k with anti-cancer drug would improve or prevent the cancer. Vitamin-k halts the reproductive cell cycle and induces apoptosis and activate ‘suicide protein’. Vitamin-k also triggers a DNA-degrading protein that cancer cell normally suppress and prevent tumor cell from repairing themselves effectively.
