According to the Food and Agriculture Organization, the world’s food production needs to increase by 70 percent by 2050 to feed the growing population. However, the EU agricultural workforce has declined by 35% over the last decade, and 54% of agriculture companies have cited a shortage of staff as their main challenge. These factors, among others, have led to an increased interest in advanced technologies in agriculture, such as IoT, sensors, robots, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), digitalization, and artificial intelligence (AI). Artificial intelligence and machine learning have proven valuable for many agriculture tasks, including problem detection, crop health monitoring, yield prediction, price forecasting, yield mapping, pesticide, and fertilizer usage optimization. In this scoping mini review, scientific achievements regarding the main directions of agricultural technologies will be explored. Successful commercial companies, both in the Russian and international markets, that have effectively applied these technologies will be highlighted. Additionally, a concise overview of various AI approaches will be presented, and our firsthand experience in this field will be shared....
Scoliosis is a three-dimensional deformity of lateral bending and rotation of the spine. Artificial intelligence (AI) is a set of theories and techniques for studying artificial intelligence, which realizes machine intelligence by simulating and expanding human intelligence. With the continuous development of the multidisciplinary integration trend of modern medicine, artificial intelligence is used more and more in the diagnosis and treatment of scoliosis. Artificial intelligence has been widely used in the study of scoliosis and has penetrated into all fields of clinical practice of scoliosis. At present, artificial intelligence has shown good application prospects in early screening, diagnosis, treatment decision making, intraoperative operation, and prognosis prediction of scoliosis. This paper mainly summarizes the application of artificial intelligence in the clinical practice of scoliosis, and briefly introduces the AI model and its specific applications. In addition, this paper also discusses the limitations and future development of artificial intelligence. In the future, artificial intelligence will bring greater convenience to the diagnosis and treatment of scoliosis and provide better therapeutic effects for patients....
The digital transformation has created an environment that fosters the development of effective chatbots. Through the fusion of artificial intelligence and data, these chatbots have the capability to provide automated services, optimize customer experiences, and reduce workloads for employees. These chatbots can offer 24/7 support, answer questions, perform transactions, and provide rapid information, contributing significantly to the sustainable development processes of businesses and organizations. ChatGPT has already been applied in various fields. However, to ensure that there is a chatbot providing accurate and useful information in a narrow domain, it is necessary to build, train, and fine-tune the model based on specific data. In this paper, we introduce EduChat, a chatbot system for university-related questions. EduChat is an effective artificial intelligence application designed by combining rule-based methods, an innovative improved random forest machine learning approach, and ChatGPT to automatically answer common questions related to universities, academic programs, admission procedures, student life, and other related topics. This chatbot system helps provide quick and easy information to users, thereby reducing the time spent searching for information directly from source documents or contacting support staff. The experiments have yielded positive results....
The paper focuses on the prospects of recognizing artificial intelligence as a subject of crime and the presence of artificial intelligence as Mens Rea and Actus Reus. The paper aims to do the following: (1) study the international experience of the criminal justice response to crimes committed with the use of artificial intelligence based on the systematic and comparative analysis, and (2) answer the question of the possibility of recognizing artificial intelligence as a subject of crime. The research is based on a wide range of international sources and data from international organizations, national legislation, and scientific literature. Within the study, we have used the following research methods: historical, comparative, formal-legal, and functional methods, and a systematic approach. As a result, we have found that artificial intelligence has the ability to implement all three components of guilt: act, direct causal link, and occurrence of socially dangerous consequences. Consequently, we have concluded about the possible definition of artificial intelligence as a special subject of crime. Therefore, we have proposed considering some of its fundamental properties as possible criminological prerequisites for recognizing artificial intelligence as a special subject of crime Keywords: artificial intelligence, robot, crime, subject of crime, special subject of crime, criminology, criminal law, social problems....
